NOTE!

  • *For your camera to connect to the cloud it will require an internet access point as well as continuous power. If the power cuts or the camera moves away from the internet connection, then the cloud connection will be lost.
  • **For parking mode to work with the BlackVue cameras power will be required once the vehicles engine is off. Once the power has been cut the camera will not turn back on until the cars engine starts up again.

All premium BlackVue dash camera models come with the following features below.

256GB microSD Support

Premium BlackVue models support up to 256GB microSD cards. This translates into a LOT of recording time, roughly 14 hours and 40 minutes on a DR750-2CH running on the highest recording settings. For a more detailed list of recording times please refer to these tables.

Loop Recording

Loop Recording

What is loop recording? This gives the camera the ability to continue recording and saving new files by replacing the oldest file seamlessly. This way, you don’t have to worry emptying the microSD card when it is full.

BlackVue Cloud

BlackVue Cloud*

BlackVue's Cloud service is available to all premium dash camera models. This is a platform that allows you to remotely login in to your camera and check recorded video files as well as receive push notifications when event files have occurred with your camera. To fully setup the BlackVue cloud we would advise following this guide.

Built in WiFi

Built in WiFi

All premium BlackVue models do come with built in WiFi that can be utilised through the BlackVue app, this allows you to see video files that have been recorded to your microSD card and save them easily to the internal memory of your phone. The BlackVue app can be downloaded through the Google Play Store for Android phones or the App Store for Iphone. If you are unsure on how to save files to the internal memory check out this guide.

Parking Mode

Parking Mode**

In Parking Mode, your BlackVue dash camera monitors for visible movements and physical impacts. If either is detected, it saves a video starting seconds before the triggering event.

BlackVue Viewer

BlackVue Viewer

The BlackVue Viewer for Windows and Mac OS computers is free to download and use. It lets you view recorded videos, change the dash cameras settings and save clips easily. The Viewer can be downloaded here.

Super Capacitor

Super Capacitor

The super capacitor in each BlackVue provides enough power to safely shut down your dash camera when power is cut, this can prevent a situation where the last recording will be saved safely and not run the risk of being corrupted. Unlike lithium batteries a super capacitor can withstand extreme heat and cold temperatures.

Microphone

Microphone

The microphone is ON by default but can be disabled in the firmware settings. The BlackVue Viewer also lets you easily save video clips without the audio track. If you are unsure on how to change the cameras firmware settings please check out this guide.

Speaker

Speaker

Your BlackVue automatically informs you via voice message when it starts recording, turns off or if an error occurs. You can turn off voice messages individually in the cameras firmware settings. If you are unsure on how to change the cameras firmware settings please check out this guide.

Impact Sensor

Impact Sensor

BlackVue’s G-sensor detects impacts, bumps and sudden acceleration or deceleration. When it exceeds the threshold of the sensitivity set, an Event file will be created starting a few seconds before the trigger occurs. Sensitivity is adjustable in the firmware settings with independent sections for Normal and Parking Mode. If you are unsure on how to change the cameras firmware settings please check out this guide.
