There are a few ways to save video files directly to your phone from the BlackVue app.
Direct WiFi Connection
- Go to your smartphone's WiFi settings and connect to your dashcam. Unsure on how to connect via WiFi?
- Open the BlackVue app and select BlackVue WiFi.
- Find the video that you would like to save. You are able to view all the video files that are on the dashcam's microSD card.
- Tap the three dot icon next to the video that you would like to save. Then select "Copy to Internal memory" to save the video to your smartphone.
How to watch recorded videos saved into Internal Memory after saving
- Open the BlackVue app and select Internal Memory.
- Then you can select the video file that has been previously saved to watch.
- You can also export the files outside of the BlackVue app by tapping the three dot icon and selecting "Share file". This is a good way to send your file to your phone's "gallery" for viewing through the phone natively.
Saving videos via BlackVue Over the Cloud
- Make sure to disconnect your phone from the camera's WiFi.
- Login to your Cloud account on the BlackVue app.
- Select the BlackVue cloud section and then select your camera.
- Find the video that you would like to save. You are able to view videos from the dashcam's microSD card or from the Cloud storage section.
- Press the three dot icon next to the video that you would like to save. Select "Copy to Internal memory" to save the video to your smartphone or "Copy to Cloud" to save the video file to the BlackVue Cloud server.
NOTE!
- The camera will need to powered to initially access these files via the BlackVue App.
- Recordings saved to the BlackVue cloud storage will be deleted after 90 days from the date they were uploaded.
- Uninstalling the BlackVue app will remove any files that you had saved into the internal memory section of the app, to insure that those files cant be lost please export them to the necessary section on your phone. iPhone - Photos or Android - Gallery.
