The BlackVue DR750S/G & DR900S Series cameras have built-in Wi-Fi, which allow them to connect to a smartphone or tablet device via the BlackVue app.
You can get the app for free from Apple's App Store or the Google Play Store

When connecting your camera to your phone/tablet device, please make sure that your Wi-Fi has been enabled on your BlackVue dashcam.

iPhone and iPad video tutorial

If you cannot access the video above, please follow the manual steps below.

Go into your device's Wi-Fi setting's and find the dashcam's network name, it will look similar to the following: 'BlackVue750S-AE549B'. If no network name is appearing, check if the Wi-Fi LED on the dashcam is ON or blinking. If it isn't, press the Wi-Fi button to turn it on. You can wait for the audio prompt to tell you.

You will then need to enter the Wi-Fi password for your device to connect to the dashcam. The DR750S/G and DR900S units each have their own unique password for connecting to the Wi-Fi. If you have purchased through a car dealership, then the default password will have been set to 'blackvue' for your convenience.

If your device is stating that there is "No internet available" then that is fine, as the camera does not produce an internet connection. You are okay to press skip/ignore or similar to what ever appears on the notification prompt.

Once you are successfully connected to the dashcam via the Wi-Fi, you can start the BlackVue application and select 'BlackVue Wi-Fi'. From this menu you are able to view recordings, save recordings to your device, change settings and more.

NOTE!

  • You will require a compatible smart device to take full advantage of the dashcam's Wi-Fi features.
  • The DR750S and DR900S Series has set unique Wi-Fi passwords, this password is printed on the label, which can be checked by removing the dashcam from its mount.
  • We also have a direct Wi-Fi connection video tutorial available.
