The Wi-Fi signal is too weak.

This message can sometimes be received on Android phones when trying to connect to the camera using the BlackVue app. This is usually caused by the phone trying to connect to your mobile data (4G network) while connecting to the dashcam's Wi-Fi connection. In order to resolve this issue, follow the steps below for your appropriate device.

Android (other)

To fix this issue, disable your mobile data on your phone. It should now connect to the BlackVue.

Samsung

Under your advanced WiFi settings there will be an option called 'Switch to mobile data'. Disabling this will allow you to connect to the dashcam while leaving your mobile data on.

iPhone & iPad

If this message occurs, please forget the network and try to connect again. It should now connect to the BlackVue dashcam.

You can 'forget the network' by going into Settings and Networks, then selecting your BlackVue from the list via the small button. This will give you an option to "Forget the network.". After you have done this, you need to reconnect to your BlackVue's WiFi and re-enter your password.
