What is the issue?

The camera is powering down as soon as the vehicle turns off. You notice this from the "The BlackVue is now shutting down" audio prompt.

Why does this happen?

Loss of power to the camera will turn it off. If your camera is immediately powering down when the vehicle is turned off, there may be no hardwiring kit or backup battery, or the Power Magic Pro fitted has the parking mode switched in the OFF position.

Make sure the mode switch (right side) is in the ON position

What can be done to prevent this?

If you are not sure where the Power Magic Pro is in your vehicle, please contact your installer. If the Power Magic Pro (PMP) is not readily accessible, it is advised to have an automotive electrician look into helping you.
